Hello and welcome to DeploymentLessons.org!
I began collecting these Lessons Learned about deployment while my husband was in Iraq beginning in 2003.
I was surprised by the humor that the ladies used to describe the things that were happening to them while their husbands were away. Many shared that they were surprised by the things they learned while their husbands were gone.
I hope you find them heart-warming and wanting to share your own Lessons Learned!
Feel free to contact me anytime. Just please give me time to respond, noticing any time zone differences we may have (see the Cluster map!).
A note about the site: I chose this retro theme to give a nod to the women before us (the brave women at home during WWII).
Here’s to our grandmothers and great-grandmothers that lived through long, hard deployments without the technology we have today! Cheers! Hope
