I have learned to make a point to meet my civilian neighbors wherever I live and to be a good neighbor in return while my husband is deployed. Hohenfels, Germany

I have learned that it is great to have a dog during deployments. They keep you company, snuggle in bed at night, bark at strangers at the door, and my dog helped me chase a bird out the front door after it flew inside–what a great dog! Hohenfels, Germany
